Yoga classes in a CrossFit gym?
Yes! Of course we provide Yoga to our members at Mission CrossFit, it is the perfect pairing for our Athletes. In fact, we feel that CrossFit and Yoga complement each other extremely well. We believe that Yoga, proper breathing practices, and psychological techniques improve the general physical preparedness of our Athletes for the unexpected both in and out of the gym.
Yoga counterbalances the tightening affects of CrossFit. It improves core stability, flexibility, focus, breathing, and the mind-body connection. These are all crucial in CrossFit. What Yoga styles are available?
We currently offer 4 styles of Yoga at Mission CrossFit, Basic, Sculpt, Heated Candlelight, and Cardio Flow & Balance.
|Yoga (Basic)||A Vinyasa-style class, where movement is linked with breath. Moving through sun-salutations, core work, balancing, and more, each class is different and unique, while based on the traditional Vinyasa style of yoga.|
|Sculpt Yoga||This class incorporates free-weights into the yoga practice, to bring the focus to specific muscle groups throughout the dynamic flow.|
|Heated Candlelight||Practiced in a room lit only with candles, and moderately heated, this class is designed for muscle and mental recovery. Deep breathing, stretching, twisting, binding, and relaxation are key components of this class.|
|Cardio Flow & Balance||A 75-minute intense Vinyasa-style flow, designed to raise the heartbeat and strengthen the core. This class is complimented with a focus on balances and inversions.|

What are the membership options?
