Motivation

It is a wonderful sight to see the presents for the Casa De la Esperanza Orphanage piling up in the gym.  Our family has had a wonderful experience as each of our kids selected a name, purchased gifts, and wrapped them for the children.  Through this experience I believe our older children have come to grasp how fortunate they are.  The gifts will most likely be the only gifts these children receive.  I could see in a conversation with my oldest that she understood what this means.  Her appreciation for the holiday season has grown.  It is hard to put into words, but I can see through my children’s actions that they understand the true meaning of Christmas.  They have experienced the joy that comes in giving to others.  They are grateful for what they have.  The understand how wonderful it is to have a family and extended family so near.  I want to thank you all for your generosity.  We are making a difference in the world.  You are making the world more awesome for the children.

Strategy

Just keep moving. Simple but effective. There is no weightlifting today. You just have to move your own body. Like all workouts, at some point you are gonna want it to be over. Your legs will feel some burn, but it only hurts if you allow it to. Keep your weight on your heels during the squats. Keep your weight on the heel of your front foot during the lunges. On both movements engage your glutes at the top and thrust your hips forward. Have fun. Lunges will give you the butt you want!
