Announcements
Tough Mudder.  We were able to secure a team spot for the event.  So DO NOT register on-line.  We will have you register in a week once we get a team code for those who wish to participate.  We will have 25 spots and we were able to get 10% off.  We will need to start training specifically for this event so look for upcoming training announcements.  The course is 10-12 miles so we will need to get out for a few long distance runs.

 

Motivation
Staying positive.  On Monday morning I received an e-mail from our equipment supplier.  It was not the shipping conformation e-mail I was hoping for.  It was an e-mail telling me there was a further delay on a few items and my order would ship when they had all the pieces back in stock.  This is the second unexpected delay on the equipment.  I was not nearly as upset as I was the first time.  A few other aspects are taking longer than expected so I’m staying positive that all will come together soon.  It is easier to stay positive when you keep life in perspective.  We just found out that a good friend of ours has lymphoma.  It was just diagnosed and there are a lot of tests that still need to be done to determine what the treatment options are.  At this point they know he will have to undergo multiple rounds of Chemotherapy.  This is a father of a young family like ours.  Their oldest son is Daniel’s age and they have two younger kids that match up with two of ours.  If your priority is family and loved ones than things like delivery time on equipment isn’t such a big deal.  Keep it simple.  Keep family and loved ones your top priority.
