Motivation

Morgan did some babysitting for one of our members on Monday night.  It is rewarding for me as a Father to get the report the next morning from the person she was babysitting for.  Morgan taught their daughter how to crochet and even got their youngest into his pajamas.  While the pajamas part doesn’t seem like much this was a pleasant surprise for mom to see.  “Morgan is so sweet.”  Morgan being the oldest of our children has a lot of responsibility placed on her.  I tend to hold her to an often unfair higher standard.  I need to remind myself to keep the big picture in view instead of focusing on small details that don’t really matter.  This is the biggest struggle I face as a parent.  As parents we don’t want our kids to suffer any pains of life.  But how then do we teach our children to become compassionate, successful, hardworking people?  If we shield them to much, can they grow?

Strategy

Lots of little breaks will help you get through this today.  Do not burnout early as the body will not be able to recover.  Today is a high volume workout day so a pick a version that you know you can do under the 25 minute cap.  This is also a great Saturday workout when you have lots of time.
