Yoga Tomorrow at 8:30 AM.
Motivation
We perform better when we are surrounded by people doing the same or similar task. Wednesday was an awesome day. We had over 30 new personal records set in the 5:30 AM class alone. Wow. Numerous people set new best in all three lifts. While working with the teenagers of my Kaizen Youth Club we saw some ridiculous weight being lifted. I have been holding this group back. We have been focusing on technique. Lots of reps with progressively heavier weight. I’ve never let any of them lift over 275# on the deadlift. We had five of them lift over 300# with the top weight at 365#. All of them set new personal best in every lift. Time to raise the bar people (haha). Set your expectations and goals higher. You guys are setting personal best at an alarming rate. Those who have been putting in extra time during the 30 minutes between classes saw even bigger gains.

Workout Strategy
If you were here on Monday then you know what it feels like to do light weight for lots of reps. Today we want the same movement but a heavy weight. Smooth and Steady. There are few people in the world that can just go all out on this workout. They key is to focus on good technique. Find a tempo and stay on pace. For example: 1 every 15 seconds. This will allow you to finish in under 7:30. No one should finish under 3 minutes unless your doing the full Level 4 weight. It should be a weight that is challenging yet you can do with proper form. Your last repetition should look as good if not better than your first.
