It is that time of the year when we need to start thinking about our goals for 2015.  I’m not talking drastic New Year Resolution goals (that are never accomplished).  I’m talking about performance goals in the gym.  We continually evolve as athletes.  I use the word athlete because this is how you need to think of yourself.  Athletes need to perform.  They need to control their nutrition, sleep, and stress levels to optimally perform.  Is this really any different than what we want.  I want to be as healthy as possible.  I want to be the best I can be.  To do this I need to be disciplined.  I need to prioritize what is important to me and then I need to get it done.  No excuses.  Find a way and get it done.  Your health is the most valuable thing you will ever have.  It comes with a price.  Put in the time now to be healthy or pay medical bills later to simply be alive.  You choose.  I choose to be awesome.
