Motivation
The Kaizen Youth Club which is out non profit club that benefits the students of Silverado High School had 12 participants in class today. That is the most we have ever had in our class. We are looking to add another 3-4 students next week. It has already been very rewarding seeing these kids getting out of their comfort zones and working hard. What I am again witnessing with this group is that if you give them responsibility and show them that you trust they can get it done they not only rise to the occasion they exceed my expectations. They complete more a set warm up which I know pick on one of the students to lead. What has been great with this group is that they take it upon themselves to help even if I don’t assign them to. I witnessed multiple people assisting others in the class with instruction every where from the quick feet, to push ups, and squats. What was even more impressive was the patience that they showed while in these teaching moments. I am very excited to see what this group can accomplish. The support they are showing one another will bring them through the tough times.
