Motivation
This past weekend I drove the family to Utah for the memorial services for Sarah’s Grandmother Ruth Challis. Ruth’s husband passed away several years ago so this was most likely the last time we will see so many Challis descendants in one spot. Ruth and her husband James had 8 children, 64 grandchildren, 140 great grandchildren, and several great great grandchildren. Nearly all the grandchildren were present. What was a tender moment for me was seeing how many had a close relationship with their Grandma and Grandpa Challis. Even as an In-law I felt a deep connection with each of them. With so much family I was always deeply impressed how they could even remember my name. They always made me feel like I was one of their own. It was this ability to make everyone feel so loved and wanted that keeps their large family so close. It was amazing to see Sarah’s mom together with all of her siblings. I was in awe of the love they have for one another. No sibling squabbles that plague to many families. It was a true testament to Ruth and James who loved their family unconditionally. I am grateful for their influence, not only on Sarah’s life but my own.

Back Squat for Everyone.
Workout Strategy
This is a moderate weight for today’s workout so it should be done quickly without stopping on the Thrusters or Run. I expect to see Level 3 and 4 Athletes coming in under 7 minutes 30 seconds. I would like to see all athletes come in under 9 minutes. The Thrusters should only take 30 seconds and the run will hopefully take no longer than 2 minutes 30 seconds. 2 minutes 30 seconds is a 10 minute mile pace. You can all do that.
